IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. TUMBLING CLASS: One class at Jubilee Gymnastics is included in your monthly gym fee. You may choose from one of the following. (It is requested that you attend the same class each week to plan for student/teacher ratios)
   
   • Tuesday 6:30 – 7:30
   • Wednesday 6:30 – 7:30
   • Thursday 6:00 – 7:00
   CLASSES BEGIN THE WEEK OF AUGUST 9, 2010
2. PAPERWORK: Please print out the Omaha’s paperwork and bring it to the first practice if you have not already done so.
3. REGISTRATION: Every team member must go online and register for the Omaha’s team. You may record your credit card information on file at this time. If you have already paid in full, you still need to register online for competition registration purposes. Also, if you have already paid for August gym fees by check, this amount will not be charged to your credit card.
4. FIRST PRACTICE CLOTHING: For practice on August 8, 2010, please wear a white racer-back or sleeveless tank with black shorts. Your hair should be worn up and out of your face.
5. PARENTS REMEMBER: It is ACE policy that practices are closed to viewing except for the last week of the month.  You will be notified when practices are opened for your viewing.

Eastern Shore Coaching Staff

Susan Schwartz – Coach, Eastern Shore All Star Teams
Susan Schwartz is one of the co-founders of ACE All-stars and has been actively involved in coaching for over 20 years. A former competitive gymnast and college cheerleader, she has coached numerous teams to national titles. She is the current USASF State Director.  Susan has taught stunt safety workshops, cheer clinics, and has worked with all-star and school teams across the Southeast. She has also served as a high school cheerleading sponsor. She served as a mentor to Enterprise High School’s cheerleaders and sponsor following the 2007 tornado that took the lives of 2 of their cheerleaders. Susan still visits the high school and works with the cheerleaders as a guest choreographer.   Susan is currently a head coach for ACE as well as choreographer for Fairhope Middle and High Schools and coach of the 2010 UCA National Champions, Vestavia Hills High School. She is married and has 2 children.

Brandi Callahan – Assistant Coach, Eastern Shore All Star Teams
Brandi Callahan is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. She was a competitive gymnast for 6 years before making the switch to competitive cheerleading. In 2006, she took over as Head Coach of the Fairhope Middle School cheerleaders. Under her leadership, they have won a National Title and recently place 4th at the 2010 UCA High School National Championships! She is married to Robert Callahan and they live in Fairhope with their three boys, Julian, Marley, and Bryden.

Jana Massey Price – Assistant Coach, Eastern Shore All Star Teams
Jana Massey Price is a native of Gadsden, Alabama, where she cheered for Gadsden High School. From 2008 through 2010, she has been the cheer coach for Fairhope High School and led them to an impressive showing at UCA Nationals. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Auburn and a Masters degree in Math from UAB. Jana is married and has 3 children.

J.R. Zeringue
A Collegiate All-American Gymnast, J.R. Zeringue is a graduate of Baton Rouge High School and Jacksonville State University. J.R. is a former three-time All-Around Louisiana State Gymnast Champion, individual event qualifier to NCAA Nationals and has been coaching gymnastics for 28 years. J.R. Zeringue instructs all ACE gyms in tumbling technique, providing level-specific tumbling clinics for each team throughout the year. He joined Happy Hooper in 2009 as a partner in ownership of the ACE Cheer Company.

Happy Hooper
One of the original founders and current owners of ACE Cheer Company, Happy Hooper has won and choreographed numerous national titles and has been featured in industry magazines including American Cheerleader, Inside Cheerleading, Cheer Coach & Advisor, Cheer Biz News and All Star Cheer. ACE All-Stars has been ranked 7th in the nation for Top Gyms. Happy Hooper provides all choreography for ACE cheer teams, including our newest addition, the Eastern Shore All Stars.
