Owner and Founder of ACE Cheer Company of Mississippi. As a graduate of the University of South Mississippi and with over 16 years of cheer and dance experience at both the high school and collegiate level, Brandon joined Cheryl Farris in 2001 to begin South Mississippi Elite All-Stars, which became the largest All-Star cheer and dance program in Mississippi. In 2012, Brandon Roberts became an owner of ACE Cheer Company and merged South Mississippi Elite into the Tribe family as ACE of Mississippi. Brandon has coached and choreographed High School and All-Star teams throughout Southeast to many National Championships. With a knack for choreography, tumbling and vision, Brandon takes every moment as a blank canvas that he gets to put his paint his mark.
Melissa Hebert is our MS Business & Dance Director. She has been in the cheerleading and dance industry for 18 years. Moving from Connecticut after winning the Gold at The 2011 Dance Worlds with her former hip hop dance team, Melissa started our first dance program with South Mississippi Elite in 2011 and is now on her 8th season directing, coaching and building ACE Cheer company of Hattiesburg.
As a graduate of the University of South Mississippi and with over 28 years of cheer and dance experience at both the high school and collegiate level, Cheryl established South Mississippi All-Stars in 2001, which has became the largest All-Star cheer and dance program in South Mississippi. After joining forces with Mr. Brandon Roberts in 2003 South Mississippi Elite went on to win over 100 All-star National Championships in both cheer and dance. In 2012, South Mississippi Elite became ACE Cheer Company of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Cheryl has coached and choreographed High School and All-Star teams throughout Mississippi to many National Championships. Cheryl has traveled across the United States judging for several different cheer events both regionally and nationally including Athletic Championships, Cheersport, Varsity Brands, Jam Brands, Mississippi High School and Private School Athletic Associations.

Carlos has over 17 years of experience in cheerleading, dance, tumbling and stunts. He was a member of the Jackson State Cheerleading Squad and several Nationally ranked International Open Level 5 All Star teams. He is the recipient of the Innovative Choreography Award from both UCA and NCA. Carlos has coached and choreographed for multiple nationally ranked high schools throughout Mississippi. He comes to ACE from Central Mississippi Cheer where coached for the past 11 years and lead their All Star teams to multiple National titles. Carlos is USASF certified in levels 1 through 5. Carlos is now available for school cheer teams, All Star teams, private tumbling instruction, and choreography.

Peyton is a Senior Psychology major at the University of Southern Mississippi. She has been with ACE of Hattiesburg for 4 years. She cheered her Freshman through Junior year at Mount Carmel Academy in New Orleans, La, as well as Holy Cross High School her Senior year. She was an UCA All-American Cheerleader her junior and senior year. Peyton also cheered for the University of Southern Mississippi her Freshman and Sophomore year. Peyton is currently teaching classes from preschool to level 1a. She is the cheer coach for Special Olympics in the Hub City region. After graduation she intends to apply to Occupational Therapy school and become a Pediatric OT. With her great optimism and big heart she is a great asset at ACE of Hattiesburg.
Dawson is a former Jones County Junior College Cheerleader, where he trained under Team UCA Coaches Jeremy and Ali Lumpkin, along with Head Coach Kayla Hankins. While at Jones College, Dawson’s squad placed second at UCA Nationals for two consecutive years as well as third and second place in the College Game Day division. Dawson has served on the NCA staff, coached cheer for 5 years and has experience with both UCA and NCA cheerleading. Under his instruction, students have obtained skills an array of skills from beginner to the most elite. Being a former elite gymnast, Dawsons favorite coaching methods is coaching by example. From his experience, coaching with visual examples helps students gain trust within their spot and confidence to try a new skill. He loves sharing his knowledge while helping athletes improve skills and overall attitudes. Dawson is available Monday through Thursday for individual lessons and will be teaching various classes at ACE.

Brittany has more than 13 years of experience beginning as a high school cheerleader at Seminary High School. In 2007, Brittany graduated from high school and was offered a scholarship to cheer for Jones County Junior College. During Brittany’s sophomore year at JCJC, she received the Bobcat Award and the “J” award for leadership and academics. Brittany also cheered at Hub City All-Stars for 2 years while enrolled as a full time student and cheerleader at JCJC. After junior college, Brittany attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education.
Chelsea has 12 plus years of cheerleading experience including 4 NCA All American Cheerleader awards and 2 years experience as Captain of her high school cheerleading team. She also has 4 years coaching experience with gymnastics, elementary, high school, and All Star teams including 2 years as a National Cheerleading Association Instructor. She has a great passion for cheerleading as a former athlete, coach, and parent. She enjoys seeing athletes grow and reach their goals. Chelsea attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center and William Carey University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and works part time as a Registered Nurse.
